JOB PURPOSE

Driving & taking care of Performance Monitoring & OS&E function effectively along with Energy management at plant to ensure continual improvement & sustainable plant performance with systematic approach.

ORGANISATION CHART

This position will report to Manager - OS&E.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performance & Efficiency

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Enhance plant efficiency, reliability, and operational safety.

Monitor and analyze system performance data for trends and issues.

Calculate unit heat rate and implement actions to reduce it.

Prepare reports on start-up delays, constraints, and daily performance.

Unit heat rate and other plant KPIs

Target vs. Actual 

Audit findings

PAT compliance

Energy Management (EnMS & PAT)

Execute Energy Management System (EnMS) activities as per site guidelines.

Analyze energy consumption and recommend cost-saving improvements.

Planned vs. Actual 

Energy savings achieved

Internal Coordination

Coordinate with all O&M functions and internal stakeholders.

Ensure timely communication on plant performance and reporting.

 

Safety

Enforce safe work practices and use of PPE.

Promote a proactive safety culture through regular briefings and good housekeeping.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with clients as per the requirement.

 

Interaction with Equipment supplier to test the equipment fidelity.

Interaction with energy auditor & Client. 

 

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Interact with Head on a regular basis to understand the priorities and work accordingly.
  • Interaction with team members and other department person’s regular basis.

  • B.Tech /M.Tech 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

5-7 Yrs experience.
