JOB PURPOSE

Driving & taking care of P&C (planning & Control) function at CHP and ensuring effective CHP function through proper planning, review, coordination, generating data/info & compliances of processes at CHP  as an integral catalyst towards smooth plant performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Planning & Control

Conducting daily review meetings. Planning, scheduling and monitoring of Preventive /Breakdown/ Corrective Maintenance Activities

Monitoring of shift activities and highlighting major issues, Spares review /identification of new spares requirements and  procurement process

Ensuring the delivery of spares in time

Overhauling planning and report generation.

Equipment Trip/Breakdown analysis and report submission

Preparation and processing of services contracts.

Bill processing for payment to contractors/Vendors.

Ensure the payment of all service providers.

Review and implementation of IMS

Submission of SIPs and BE related projects and updating the status.

 

 

 

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Interact with Head on a regular basis to understand the priorities and work accordingly.
  • Interaction with team members and other department persons in case of any clarifications

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Interaction with O & M contractor, understanding the work and priorities of work accordingly.
  • Interaction with Equipment supplier to test the equipment fidelity.
  • Interaction with Coal sampling and other Contractor for smooth carry out of the activities.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • B. Tech Mechanical with minimum 2 years experience in 200 MW P.F fired thermal power plant.
