JOB PURPOSE

The role will support the evaluation and execution of strategic real estate opportunities for family-related projects under GEPL. It will primarily support family-level real estate transactions and will focus on land identification, screening, due diligence coordination, valuation analysis, benchmarking, consultant and stakeholder coordination, and preparation of investment recommendations. The role is in addition to the existing real estate resources within GEPL.

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Identify and screen land / real estate opportunities across India for family-level projects.

Quality and relevance of opportunity pipeline; timely preliminary screening; clarity of key risks and merits.

Coordinate legal, technical, commercial and design due diligence with internal and external stakeholders.

Timely completion of due diligence workstreams; completeness of issue trackers; quality of inputs captured for decision-making.

Prepare valuation analysis, market benchmarking and comparable assessment for shortlisted opportunities.

Accuracy and robustness of valuation assumptions; quality of benchmarks; ability to explain sensitivity and value drivers.

Manage consultants and stakeholders to ensure information flow, issue closure and transaction readiness.

Responsiveness of coordination; timely closure of actions; effectiveness in aligning advisors and internal teams.

Prepare investment recommendations, decision notes and supporting analysis for management review.

Decision-ready investment notes; clear recommendation logic; alignment with management and timelines.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External advisors and market participants such as landowners, brokers, developers, valuation consultants, legal / technical due diligence advisors, design consultants, architects and relevant authorities / consultants as required for opportunity evaluation and transaction support.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

CCMO, GEPL / Family Office stakeholders, existing real estate resources within GEPL, ALD / Real Estate, Finance, Legal, Design, Projects / Execution and other internal teams involved in real estate evaluation and transaction closure.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

The role will support valuation and due diligence for land and real estate opportunities across India.

 

OTHER DIMENSIONS

Individual contributor role. Scope includes pan-India land identification, valuation support, due diligence coordination and preparation of investment recommendations. 

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

MBA / Real Estate professional preferred.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

3 to 5 years of experience in real estate, preferably across acquisitions, valuation, land transactions, due diligence and design-related analysis.
