JOB PURPOSE

Implement generalist HR role for specified Business Function(s) in GAL to enable them achieve their Vision / Mission thru implementing People strategies including Talent Acquisition, Induction, L&D, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement.

Accountable for Payroll & all Statutory compliance, standards/SOPs, auditing incl. JVs :

1. Proactively identify and document potential areas, compliance risks and partner with stakeholders to safeguard the organisation from regulatory non-compliance risks

2. Act as a Custodian of Compliance Management to build/enhance compliance monitoring systems & ensure regulatory compliance checks through self-assessment process and inculcate the compliance practices

3. Ensure HR Compliances & Employee Relations and Stay well versed in latest developments on Labour laws and Compliances

4. Actual transaction and Process level testing to ensure that on ground practices are running in accordance with compliance requirements and HR policies

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

MBA HR
PGD in Labour Laws is highly desirable

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

7-11 years of experience in large Indian companies Business/ Plant HR known for HR best practices is desirable
Hands on experience in HR Operations, Payroll/Compliances role (end to end HR practices/ know-how)
Knowledge of Labour Laws
Ability to interact across levels in a matrix environment
Analytical, Self Starter & Result Orientation
Ability to manage large and complex data
Exposure to ERP and good excel skills
