JOB PURPOSE
Consolidation of GMR infrastructure Ltd., (~150 subsidiaries); Formulation and implementation of Group accounting policies & Procedures; BPC implementation;

Consolidation of financials under Ind AS on quarterly basis (150 entities, 25-30 accounting teams & 15 auditors) Prepare closing schedule for the Group on quarterly basis Monitor progress of the schedule & highlight / escalate any slippages Ensure receipt of all subsidiary financial statements after audit & closure of all audit accounting issues Review & ensure consolidation of all the sector financials and provide the same in time for review by the superiors, after highlighting the variations Plan and Manage consolidation team on day to day consolidation activities so as to achieve the above Ensure satisfactory and timely resolution of queries from subsidiaries. Closely interact with the auditors and resolve or escalate consol audit issues Ensure accuracy and completeness of annual report of GIL Initiate and drive implementation of common initiatives related to regulatory requirements across the Group such as Schedule VI changes, Companies Act 2013 requirements. Assign activities among team members for preparation of required financial information for GIL Annual Report, Investors, Fund raising initiatives, etc. and Review the same to ensure accuracy and completeness Identify improvement areas in the consolidation process and initiate action for deployment of the same |

- 10 - 15 years of total experience with about 6-8 years experience in managing consolidation function in a company with large number of subsidiaries
