JOB PURPOSE

Responsible to lead and ensure Operational excellence for all trainings across all the verticals. Work with Head Aviation Academy and strategize for creating excellence in operations of all the Training programs as per the AOP. Manage and lead all the Centers of Aviation Academy at Delhi, Hyderabad, Raebareli and Kochi with outreach to Aviation Stakeholder in all key cities in India and future expansion.

Ensure to launch programs as per the AOP and annual calendars at all the GMR Aviation Academy centers- Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi and Raebareli and future expansions.

% of Commencement

Strategize for ICAO, IATA, MoCA & ACI positioning and Global recognition and training programs
Strategic tie-ups with global Institutions and corporates for training initiatives.

 

No. of Certifications and NIL Audit findings

Preparation of AOP as per the Business Strategy. 

 

Business Paln

Responsible for various Course Modules development, updating and quality in the centers. 


Course Materials, Quality and Audits

Plan strategic & marketing initiatives to grow form Airport Trainings to trainings for Airlines, Cargo, MRO, Retail, Ground Handlers etc.

Expand the scope of Trainings beyond Airport & Aviation.

 

Support GMR Airports in India and Abroad: GHIAL, DIAL, GGIAL, GVIAL and Medan with strategies for manpower training and upskilling No. of Trainings initiatives and programs conducted for each airport 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Industry Clients for regular / customized training programs and campus placement

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Ensure to achieve the revenue generation targets of the Academy and meet the AOP.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

This role involves monitoring of  TNIs, Course development, Faculty and SME evaluation and grievance handling. 
Responsible for a team size of  40 staff members in the existing Centers- Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi and Raebareli and future expansions..

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

•Post Graduate (MBA preferred)
•Specialization in Aviation
•Aviation related certifications are mandatory (eg. AMPAP)
•Sound knowledge of Civil Aviation rules, Noise pollution & control rules, Building rules & Legal metrology acts, Immigration, Customs, Quarantine rules (CIQ) etc

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    Postgraduate with Sound knowledge of Aviation Industry and Management
    Desirable – ICAO Qualified Instructor/ ICAO Certified Course Developer, University Degree or Appropriate Aviation or Aeronautical qualifications and experience in one or more Civil Aviation Field(s)
    Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and tasks
    20 Years of Experience with minimum10 years in the Aviation Industry
