  1.  JOB PURPOSE

To provide optimal and cost efficient design solutions for new developments in Mopa, Goa International Airport in line with master plans, manuals and business needs. To review designs of third parties in adherence to master plans, manuals, and business needs. Implement procedures & processes during development.

Accountabilities

Key Performance Indicators

Assist in the review of Concept, Space planning and Interior design Drawings.

For all new & proposed developments.

Prepare presentation of concepts & 3D renderings.

As required by end user and as per Business needs

Preparation of Architectural & M&E Services Detailed Design drawings.

As per Project schedule.

Prepare Specifications & BOQ (Material Quantities), scope /quantity and cost estimation.

As per Detailed Design  

To execute Architectural and Interiors projects

As per design, drawings and specifications.

Prepare and issue GFC drawings as required.

As per Project Requirements

Implement green building designs and latest materials and technologies.

As applicable for all project.

Maintain Design Records and Update drawings.

Regularly and with Zero Non Compliance

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for Project Design. 
  • Preparation of project brief, proposals and presentations in coordination with team.
  • Develop project design, ensuring sign-offs with the stakeholders
  • Communicate with internal teams for design coordination and developments.
  • Communicate with stake holders for project progress and developments.
  • Preparation of design, specifications and all material approvals within team.
  • Coordinate with government and relevant Authorities i.e. AAI, Notified Area Committee, Survey of India as per the project requirements.
  • Coordinate architectural designs with structural & MEP and IT services
  • Compliance of statutory requirements as required by law or government guidelines is met by all agencies.
  • Ensure overall compliance with Client’s requirement in design.

 

  • Coordinate and monitor outsourced design sub-consultants and external consultations.

 

  • Ensure compliance of security, Safety & Environment and general housekeeping provisions in design.

  • Should have independently designed complete Residential / Commercial/ Institutional / Public Utility building project of Rs 10 crores.

  • Should have handled a team of at least 2 draftsmen to deliver the design project.

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

 

Relevant and total years of Experience

  • Overall 3-5 Years of work experience as Design Architect.
  • Project Management & Design Management experience preferred
  • Well versed in the following:
    • Prepare Concept Design and Detailed Design, Tender & GFC Drawings.
    • Conversant with National Building Code of India, Local Bye laws, Design standards, Fire dept. regulations, and compliances to statutory norms.
    • Design tools like, Auto cad 2D and 3D, 3D Studio, Google sketch-up and Revit.
    • Green building designs and latest materials and technologies.
    • Adequate knowledge of architectural, interior design.
    • Good Hand Sketches preparation abilities.
