JOB PURPOSE
Provide operational leadership to security functions at Manohar International Airport in order to ensure incident free and foolproof security operations thereby providing a safe and secure environment for the passengers, all the stake holders/concessionaries and airport staff. |

Zero Error Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) Operations – Ensure foolproof and seamless functioning of Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) by enhancing alertness and image interpretational skills of team members through continuous knowledge upgradation, refresher training and obtaining timely Certification/Re-certification from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) which would help in preventing acts of unlawful interference with Civil Aviation operations. |
Availability of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) Certified screeners for Hold Baggage Screening duties. Detection of all items restricted for carriage on board including dummy checks conducted by the Regulatory Authority i.e. BCAS. |

Efficient Electronic & Human Surveillance – Integrate the Surveillance team and Airport Operation Control Centre (AOCC) Security Help Desk to work in tandem so that effective anti-sabotage and theft / pilferage control measures can be put in place through human as well as electronic surveillance. |
Data of year on year theft incidents and number of such cases cracked. |

Management of Landside Security – Ensure seamless and effective ramp traffic and incident free landside security management with Raxa and monitor deployment of manpower and enforcement of the Service Level Agreement (SLA). |

ASQ and passenger facilitation : Contributing to ASQ and passenger facilitation by ensuring efficient ramp traffic management, sufficient deployment of CISF and Immigration manpower and reducing the die back situation in the hold baggage screening. This will require efficient and result oriented stake holder engagement with CISF, Immigration and all the Airlines. |
The ASQ Score obtained by RGIA and actual waiting time at the departure gate, check-in counter, security check and immigration check. |

1. Interact with the airline managers and airline security managers with regard to the requirements of Hold Baggage Screening and prevention of theft and pilferage. Timely communication of the information received from Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS)/Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). 2. Interact with local Police on a routine basis for all law & order and landside/traffic management related issues including sounding of red/high alert, political agitations and VIP/VVIP movements. 3. Interact with Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) / Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for incident free security operations, security clearance of all business entities operating at the airport and for speedy space and security clearance of the concessionaires in the SHA. |

1. Understand the certification/ re-certification requirements of the staff to ensure smooth Hold Baggage Screening operations with requisite number of BCAS certified screeners. 2. Interact with Technical Services and IT teams for effective operation of machineries and gadgetries which has a direct bearing on Hold Baggage Screening and electronic surveillance systems. 3. Interact with Project Management and Terminal Operation teams for Security operational requirements at Security Hold Area and during Haj Operations. |

•Screening and image interpretation of approximately 15,000 registered baggage including Out of Gauge (OOG) bags
•500 registered bags at Level 4 including mis-track bags
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
•Qualified in Bureau of Civil Aviation Security Basic AVSEC Course
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
•At least 25 years of experience in the field of Security with a minimum of 15 years in Aviation Industry
