JOB PURPOSE

  • The role is responsible for preparation of GHIAL Annual, quarterly Ind AS consol financial statements, getting it reviewed from auditors and approval of the Annual accounts in the board meeting and upload the same in SGX yearly within 120 days and quarterly within 60 days from the end of year, quarter respectively,
    Review of monthly I GAAP and Ind AS financials received from SSC and ensure proper accounting of P&L, BS items,

    Ensure renewal of GHIAL insurance policies with in the due date, ensure raising of NASFT invoice on monthly basis and follow up for payment,

    Provision of  required information to both Statutory and  MAG auditor,

    Provision of required information to corporate and sector as and when required,

    Review of Trial balance relating to old outstanding balances and clearing the same.

    Atomization and process improvements both in Consol and treasury where-ever possible.

    He is also responsible to attend the requirements of the Auditors (both internal and external) and ensuring the implementation of their suggestions.

Accountabilities
Preparation of Consolidated Annual Accounts of GHIAL including all its Subsidiaries and Joint Venture Companies and get the same audited by the Statutory auditors on timely basis
Preparation of condensed Consolidated financials for June, Sept and December  quarter of GHIAL including all its Subsidiaries and Joint Venture Companies for Bond covenants compliance and get the same reviewed from third party with in timelines
Review of I GAAP and Ind AS financial statements on monthly basis and notes to accounts on quarterly basis
Ensure proper accounting of TR Transaction including MF, CP, FD's & SAM and BRS for all GHIAL accounts. 
Automation/ Process Improvements in Treasury and Finance function and preparation of SOP/Closing check list as Required.
Own the Accounts Receivables function and lead the reporting & collection including old outstanding receivables.    
Provision of required information to corporate and sector finance team as and when required
Coordination with the statutory auditors and MAG to meet the audit documentation for smooth conduct of audit.
Ensure timely renewal of insurance of assets Large Risk, AOL and Terrorism and other policies
Ensure necessary approvals from ACM for Omnibus and non-Omnibus RPT transactions
Submission of periodical reports / information to MOCA / AAI /NASFT and ensure compliances to the SOP and guidelines issued by the MOCA etc. with respect to PSF Fund /ASF and co-ordination with MAG & CAG auditors.
Continuous improvement of process of preparation of Consolidated financials and XBRL filing of Annual CFS
Review of Trail Balance and ensure all the old outstanding balances have cleared 
Responsible for MIS reporting for subsidiaries & guide the MIS team in terms of co-ordination with various subsidiaries CFO and F&A team

Review of I GAAP and Ind AS financial statements on monthly basis and notes to accounts on quarterly basis    Review of IGAAP and Ind AS financials on monthly basis and ensure the same is completed by 5th working day of the following month.
Ensure proper accounting of TR Transaction including MF, CP, FD's & SAM and BRS for all GHIAL accounts.     Follow up with SSC-Treasury team to ensure proper accounting of MF, CP and FD entries and follow up with respective users on the pending BRS items 
Automation/ Process Improvements in Treasury and Finance function and preparation of SOP/Closing check list as Required.    Identification and improvement of treasury processes where ever required
Own the Accounts Receivables function and lead the reporting & collection including old outstanding receivables.        Interaction & follow up with user departments to collect old outstanding dues. Reporting of various parameters & stakeholder management. 
Provision of required information to corporate and sector finance team as and when required    Submission of all the required information to corporate as and when required
Coordination with the statutory auditors and MAG to meet the audit documentation for smooth conduct of audit.    Submission of required data to auditors to ensure smooth conduct and completion of audit
