JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for Design review, Implementation & Commissioning of Electrical system works for Airport projects adhering to highest degree of safety & quality standards and within cost & time.

Design review and execution of Civil and finishes works in coordination with other stakeholders and ensuring implementation of the same with highest safety & quality standards within specified timelines and cost.  

ORGANISATION CHART

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design Management: (1) Review foundation, sub structure, super structure design calculations submitted by the consultants and the structural designer in line with design standards and specifications for construction of warehouses to provide input to HOD for discussion and resolution. (2) Review Material Specifications and explore latest products and technologies for finishes items related to Flooring, cladding, Façade, ceiling, Toilets, Offices, Furniture and special architecture features (3) Ensure the quality of desired material (4) Participate in  design coordination meetings with cross functional teams, Stakeholder and consultants to mitigate conflicts in the design stage. (5) Coordinate and ensure GFC drawings are approved in time and issued for construction.

Procurement Management (1) Assist in Finalizing tender specifications, drawings and BOQs for procurement. (2) Assist internal team & procurement team in vendor evaluation and technical evaluation of the bids, Provide Commercial inputs for price realization. (3) Handing over and Contract Closure: Responsible for development of required documentation for a proper transformation (Handing Over, Taking Over). Conduct Trial/Live operations post commissioning of the project to ensure smooth transition to operation phase. Ensure rectification of snags identified during the trial/Live operations by the OEMs and system stabilization.

Construction Management: (1) Execution of all Civil and structure works & other interface works as per the quality & cost parameters  specified in the contracts (2) Execution of finishes such as all suspended Ceilings, floor finishes, wall finishes, Partitions, Cladding, Toilets and other interface works as per the quality & cost parameters specified in the contract as per agreed timelines. (3) Coordinate to Integrate other systems, Sub-Systems (M&E, IT, Civil, Structures) in to final finishes to ensure achieve highest standard of finishes within the approved time & cost. (4) Certify and approve contractor payments for the works completed. (5) Resolve site level conflicts with interfacing/ related works such as Civil, electrical and MEP services. (6) Monitor and verify various tests being performed on Material/ Product & execution works for quality standards from time to time and correct any deviations.

Project stakeholders to understand their requirements

Architects and designers during design phase to ensure design compliance to all standards and client requirements while optimizing the design to minimize cost

Civil and Contractor during execution stage to monitor manufacturing schedules and supervision and coordination for on-site execution

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Other project disciplines for efficient coordination of works and integration of Civil works with MEP & IT works

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Should have led in design and project Management / execution of Electrical Systems works worth Rs. 50 Crores to 100 Crores with overall project value between 100 to 300 Cr.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • Executed complex Electrical network systems for various infrastructure projects in Hospitality and Healthcare
  • Executed 10 MVA HT electrical substations and associated LT works as minimum.
  • Executed electrical distribution of 11kV / 33kV / 220kV with all required protection and safety.
  • Shall have experience of coordination with government authorities.
  • Shall have knowledge of protection system as per required guidelines.
  • Handled a team of 10 staff for Project execution

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Engineering (BE/B. Tech) with PG preferably.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 12 to 15 Years of relevant Experience in Design and Project Management with at least 3 years as lead for electrical systems
