JOB PURPOSE

Plan, Execute & Monitor the Strategic Initiative Build Customer Focused Organization through VOC intervention for relevant external & internal stakeholder to bring process improvement, and customer centricity in the organization leading to realization of ASQ vision no 1 by 2014. Plan and monitor AOP for QSD to ensure cost effective budgets and cost-containment on spends. Implement PDM / KPI framework to align QSDs deliverable to DIALs goals.

ORGANISATION CHART

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • BE Application (6 Processes and 1 Results) writing through collaborative approach for all categories, conducting workshop, group discussions regarding collection of salient points, adherence to GBEM criteria, development of requisite literature, graphics, and pictorial representations. Program management of BE application preparation
  • Compilation of BE Results category through taskforce formation & also being a member of taskforce Benchmarking with DIAL and other airports/industry.
  • Closure of OFIs, through conducting Action planning workshop and later conducting periodic reviews with each depts. Tracking of OFI's on regular basis till closure
  • Spreading BE culture - through training, campaigning, road shows & successful completion of CIPs, Kaizens, 5S, Idea factory with Ground level improvements through CIPs / Idea factory / Kaizens at each department and R&R activities with monthly MIS for management review.
  • Engaging Employees through above activities, formation of BE Champions or any other cross functional teams for innovative way for spreading and encouraging inculcation of best practices and innovation.
  •  Extending above activities to Stakeholders and involve them in BE journey through specially designed events, contests and R&R activities
  • Participation in external forums - award contests and support to other depts. For their participation.: Coordination for preparation of application for various external forums such as CIl / Golden Peacock awards.
  • Coordination for conducting survey with various customer / stakeholders (Airlines, Cargo freight forwarder, Internal customers, Tenants) - Initiation, roll out, follow up. closure, compilation and inference from survey. presentation to management

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

DIAL, External forums like CII, Golden Peacock etc., External BE Assessors, As & when required - Stakeholders of airport like airlines, CISF, Customs

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with all Head of the Departments, Operations, HR &. FMS, Finance , IT, SPG, Commercial Aero & Non- Aero ,Security ,Corporate Communication

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • Ensure compliance to Business Excellence Budget as per AOP
  • Financial Updates on Business CIPs wrt Cost Savings and Revenue Generation.
  • Maintain 5S Dashboard wrt Revenue Generation through 5S Program.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering Graduate with master’s in business management [MBA] or Total Quality Management [TQM].
  • Expert / Hand on with BE Frameworks like – Malcolm Baldrige [MBNQA], Tata Business Excellence Model [TBEM], CII European Foundation Quality Management [EFQM]
  • Certified in Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies with exposure to application of Problem-Solving Tools and Techniques

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of Total experience with 5+ years of exposure into Business Excellence / driving initiatives through various BE frameworks, Improvement and Problem-Solving Tools and Techniques, Research oriented work etc.
  • Industry background of manufacturing /services with excellent Project, Program management, and Coordination and Communication Skills
