JOB PURPOSE

Active involvement in completing of various important assignments like LTDC 197,ITR, Govt Department Audit & Tax Audits etc. Compiling various Information’s/Submissions of replies related to various tax laws like, Assessments, Appeals, Show cause,Intimations,Notices,Govt. Audits etc.

Key Performance Indicators

Preparation and Submission of various Tax Returns. Like

  • TDS Returns
  • Income Tax Returns
  • Ensure timely submission of TDS/ income tax returns along with proper documentation

Compiling Information’s/Submissions of replies related to various tax laws like

  • Income Tax Assessments
  • Appeals
  • Show cause,
  • Intimations,
  • Notices,

 

  • Ensure timely submission of replies without any defaults and with proper documentations.

Issuing various certificates as per the Law

  • TDS Certificates
  • Various Tax Related certificates to various Airlines & Banks
  • Ensure timely issuance of certificates and maintenance of proper documentation

Preparation / Compiling and submission ofdetails for various important assignments like :

  • Lower Tax Deduction Certificate
  • Tax Audits
  • Transfer Pricing Audit

 

  • Ensure timely submission of details along with proper documentations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Preparing, Accounting and payment of various Statutory dues.

  • Ensure timely Payments with proper review and documentations

Reviewing various Tax GL's on regular intervals and takes corrective measures for the same.

  • Ensure timely review and take initiatives for corrective measures.

Preparation / Compiling information for various Audits and to Ensure resolution of Audit queries of Internal & Statutory Audit. Involvement in ICFR/ Internal Audit.

  • Ensure closure of audit report with clean audit report from the auditors

Reviewing and creating various new tax amendments in System (SAP) and send information to the concerned user for any amendments.

  • Ensure timely updates related to tax laws and make changes in System (SAP) accordingly

 

Internal Controls:

  • Process Improvement in our work area and educate user departments for changes/amendments in various tax laws on regular basis.
  • Various initiative taken for KAIZEN, BLIP & CIP

 

  • Ensure process improvement thru automation in SAP

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles  you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

External interaction consists of interaction with the various statutory authorities, Statutory Auditors, Vendors , Concessioners , Bankers etc.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

Internal interaction consists of interaction with the various departments such as Procurement, Payable, Revenue, Secretarial etc.

The position also involves interaction with the higher level management such as the Finance Controller & Chief Financial Officer.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Obtaining of LTDC from taxation authorities for around Rs. 450 crores.

Ensuring deposit of TDS liability amounting to Rs.300 crores

B.Com/M.com/CA

6-8 years of experience of which atleast 3-4 years in similar profile
