JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for Operations and Maintenance of Facility Equipment for MRO and CFM in SEZ area, RGIA . Ensuring Optimum, reliable and un interrupting performance of systems in safe and cost effective manner and support to review Designs, tendering with technical inputs, installation, Testing and commissioning of Electrical systems like HT, LT and LV Systems.

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators

Operations & Maintenance of Facility: with competent technical staff and maintenance knowledge, ensure availability of systems at MRO and CFM are as per SLAs. With effective preventive maintenance programs, ensure minimum breakdown and improved efficiency of the equipment.

Availability reports, Maintenance reports, Complaint registers

Safety and statutory compliance: Ensure the maintenance with zero incidents. Support in ensuring statutory compliance with regular environmental checks and plant operation as per pollution control board.

Safety reports, Water reports, Stack emission reports. Effluent treatment operations.

Technical team development: Support to manager in upgrading the skills of technical team with trainings and interactions.

Training records, Staff competency records

Maintenance of facility within Annual budget: Optimum utilization of resources, ensuring facility is maintained with in the annual budget.

AOP, Accounts statements

Contract/Contractor management: Effective coordination and win-win strategy with client and service providers ensures in easy contract management.

Correspondences with client and contractors

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles  you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Interact with client on regular basis to understand their requirement.
Support in Coordinating with Government agencies like CEIG, CEA and local Electrical Authorities.
Interact with external consultant / AMCs for their service quality, reporting mechanism and smooth execution of the project.
Interact with OEM and other material suppliers for maintenance and purchase issues

 

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work.
Interaction with superiors for seeking help in daily maintenance activities.
Interact with Procurement and contracts department for purchasing consumables, measuring equipment’s, PPM and other AMC contracts. Other contract negotiation issues for smooth flow of work.
Interact with HR department for labour issues at facility and other manpower issues. 
Interact with Accounts department for Billing, raising debit notes, providing payment certifications etc.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

   Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with a minimum of 6-8 years

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

 6 - 8 years of total experience in Electrical systems like HT, LT and LV Systems in mega projects ( Malls, Hospitals, Hotels and Public Facilities is preferable) and Familiar with Electrical regulations (central/State).
