JOB PURPOSE

To Lead and Manage team of technical professionals to achieve maximum availability of entire Mechanical systems like water storage & distribution system, wastewater & sewage accumulation system and Infrastructure, Sewage Treatment Plants – 1, 2, 3, 4, MEP services of ALS, Water Treatment plant in a cost-effective manner complying with all safety, environmental and statutory norms.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities    
To Ensure and maintain & uptime of 
•    Critical Mechanical Systems of Airside & Landside Areas
•    Fire hydrant and sprinkler distribution network for ALS 
•    STP -WTP Plant and all critical Pumping stations 
•    MEPC works in GMR Township, CISF Quarters etc.,    Percentage Availability
To closely monitor water and electricity consumption KPIs related to mechanical systems and guide team to optimize the same. Further responsible for identifying new initiatives for optimization of power and water in the system operation.    Within Approved Budget
KPIs
To Prepare system wise AOP covering all line items for un-interrupted airport operations and monitor the AOP expenses and adhere to budgeted AOP.
To ensure adherence to AOP budget in terms of water consumption of airport and other ancillary buildings.    Within Approved Budget
Ensure and guide the team in adhering to standard PPM schedule for ALS Mechanical systems like,
•    Plumbing systems 
•    WTP-STP systems
•    Pumping System 
•    Fire hydrant distribution network
•    Pumping Stations
•    All water storage tanks    PPM compliance report
•    To identify and complete approved CAPEX and OPEX Improvement Projects 
•    Adoption of New technologies & Value Engineering
•    Implementation of 5S & Kaizen’s
•    Support in Business Excellence initiatives
•    Feedback of Internal Stakeholders    No of projects completed

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with all AMC contractors in the Airport.
Interaction with OEMs and suppliers for material and services
Interaction with OEM for trouble shootings 
Interaction with statutory authorities for compliance

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with colleagues on regular basis to collect monitor about maintenance activities.
Interaction with other department like Airside operations, facilities, TOPS for timely completion of work.
Interaction with superiors on regular basis to update and seeking guidance.

Interaction with Maintenance team employee size up to 6 numbers.
Interaction with External Maintenance team employee size up to 65 numbers.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B-Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Familiar with IS and International codes, NFPA codes is preferred

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

6 – 8 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance of Mechanical of Airport Facility / Large Facility / Industry / Hotel
