Duty Manager - Airside Operations

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will be involved in Rotational working in shifts and manage functional control over the Airside operations. He would liaise with necessary Internal and External stake holders for ensuring safe and smooth operations during all contingencies

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Represents Airside Operations Department in all aspects of airport operations; manages airside of the airport; ensures the operational efficiency and safety of the airport by performing standard safety and security inspections of the aircraft operating areas
Aerodrome license compliance
Management & implementation of contingency plan
Adherence to operational procedures and policy decisions as issued by Airside operations.
Formulation of working instructions for management of Airside operations to have safe & smooth transit through RGIA
Management of Airside discipline.
Management of VVIP/VIP, Follow me and Escort services.
Baggage delivery as per Airport Service Standards

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Initiate new revenue generation sources; enhance and retain existing revenue generation sources; explore measures to reduce costs; sensitize team to prudently use company assets; SLA Voilations and vendor management.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

Lead and manage a team during each shift comprising of :

  1. 4 members of Airside officers
  2. 12 members of  Aerobridge Operators
  3. 08 members of Taxiway/FEGP Operators

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA/Post Graduate in Airport/Aviation management from reputated Institutes.

 

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

10 to 15 Yrs of Airfield Experience
