JOB PURPOSE

Lead the Procurement & Contract team to strategize, execute and deliver in line with corporate policy. Execute procurement in fair & competitive manner, improve and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all the procurement activities, Vendor management, logistics management, Contracts Management and other dispute resolution mechanism to Support Smooth Operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Overall Procurement for ALD Hyderabad Business: Responsible for end to end procurement for all the Projects undertaken by ALD across Hyderabad location.

Overall Contract Administration for ALD Business Hyderabad : Implement technical & commercial terms during project execution, enforce processes & ensure its compliances, certify bills in line with contract terms & ensure timely payments to vendors, control variations & cost overrun, analyze & settle claims/disputes amicably, ensure &

compliance to post auditing and final contract close outs

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles  you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Vendors/Suppliers/Contractors; Clarifications, Negotiations, Problem solving
Consultants; on improvement plans, New Projects etc.,
Auditors; for compliance
Original Equipment manufacturers; Price Discovery/New Developments etc.,

Interact with Department Heads on a regular basis to:
1.    Finalize the Department Procurement Plan
2.    Find/suggest solutions to the problems/issues related to Procurement & Contracts

Capex of approx. 250-300 Crores

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • Handle a cross functional & stack-holder teams of 40-50 members
  • Handle multiple small/big complex turnkey real estate & industrial projects and multi-discipline vendors.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • B Tech (Civil )

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 20+ Years in Procurements and Contracts Management
  • Preferred Industry: Real Estate
