JOB PURPOSE

This position will lead successful delivery of RTR processes covering Month End close process, fixed asset, Inter-company, tax and treasury management with full responsibility of Legal Entity accounting and compliances.  The role will include overall effectiveness of the Accounting close, provisioning, detailed review of Trial Balance and oversee RTR CoE process including operational delivery and meeting the defined SLA & KPI’s, leadership & people management, customer management & cross functional activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operations:
 Overall accounting & management of: 
o Fixed Assets (FA): Fixed assets accounting, depreciation runs, month-end closing activities, audit requirements & SLA/KPI governance    
o Inter-company (IC): Inter-company reconciliations, IC mismatch, resolution of disputes/open items & SLA/KPI governance     
o SLA/KPI governance (in case of no separate work stream)
o Treasury: Timely accounting of Investments & reconciliations
o Accounting close, provisioning, detailed review of Trial Balance and oversee RTR CoE process including operational delivery and meeting the defined SLA & KPI’s, leadership & people management, customer management & cross functional activities.
 Ensure delivery per customer expectation and ensure customer satisfaction
 Set KPIs/SLA’s targets and define the roadmap for the team to achieve
 Review and authorize exceptional transactions processed by Team Members
 Provide technical expertise and mentorship for the end-to-end above mentioned R2R function
 Communicate, coordinate & initiate actions ensuring seamless & smooth function of the processes
 Promote a ‘customer centric’ and ‘partnership approach’ to develop strong relationships with other working groups 
 Implement and manage intra-departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives are carried out
 Knowledge management planning and ensuring backup resourcing to avoid loss of knowledge/information due to attrition
 Manage escalations from Team Members & external stakeholders 
 Manage the overall costs against the budget. 
 Flexible enough to deal with multiple issues at the same time able to maintain a constantly high level of alertness.

Governance
 Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the team is on target to reach goals and takes corrective actions, as necessary 
 Liaison with & work closely (remotely) with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Consultants, and any such external / third parties for Audit and compliance purpose
 Define /strengthen processes to ensure better controls in processes

Process Improvements 
 Share best practices & identify areas of improvement within processes
 Facilitate initiatives related to operational excellence
 Preparation of the overall business/use case presentation to management for conducting POC
 Ensure that all new knowledge / improvements are documented and added to SOPs and / or the knowledge management database.

Reach out to other SSC team members for quick resolution of open issues & escalations

GMR IT

Discussions with IT for all new tools & technologies essential for SSC functioning
