JOB PURPOSE

This role also ensures the strategic and efficient management of RGIA’s property and infrastructure, including space optimization and lifecycle maintenance, to enhance employee satisfaction, customer experience, and commercial value.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Preparing, Monitoring and controlling FMS Budget during the Financial Year. Endeavour to restrict budgets within approved limits by identifying FMS functional streams for cost rationalization
  • Planning, developing & implementing the deliverable services and facilities in line with the organizational goals and vision
  • Improve work environment by provisioning and maintaining necessary infrastructure, services & facilities viz. employee facilities, accommodation facilities, transportation, asset management, lease management, EEMC, Concierge services, Meeting rooms, canteen etc. and standardizing the same.
  • Develop and Implement comprehensive policies and procedures (SoPs) to ensure streamlined facilities management and operations. Continuously evaluate and improve existing practices for optimum resource utilization.
  • Member of Group FMS Council – Formation of Corporate FMS policies and its implementation at GHIAL and subsidiaries
  • Implementation of New Projects, Initiatives to enhance employee experience
  • Monitoring safety and health standards to promote wellness among employees.
  • Effective Space Management for GHIAL and subsidiaries
  • Guest House Management used by Senior Management at Hyderabad and Tirumala
  • Management of GHB requirements at Offices, Guest Houses, Residence at Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Tirumala
  • Employee Satisfaction Survey across all employees of GHIAL and its Subsidiaries, Bengaluru and other locations.
  • Township Management

External interactions:

  1.  Vendor management
  2. Benchmarking management with similar organizations/institutions/individuals
  3. Interaction with Related govt. authorities/associations and relevant institutions

 

Government and Statutory Authorities  – ensuring all compliances are adhered to

External consultants / agencies (trainers, recruitment consultants, HR consultants etc.)  – contract renewals & monitoring performance

Professional Networks – representing GMR in external forums / networks

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

SPG , CEO’s and Other Department Heads – collaboration on  business plan preparation

Finance – HR & FMS  budget preparation and monitoring

Corporate HR Team  - alignment to the group HR architecture defined

All department heads – HR & FMS support as required

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Administration, Hospitality, Graduate, Defence background or equivalent
  • Preferably MBA

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 20+ years of experience of handling FMS, administration and logistics
  • Have minimum 5 years of experience working with Taj, Oberoi and similar group of hotel chains along with corporate facility management. 
  • At least 10+ years of experience in handling facilities in large organizations (1000+ employees)
