JOB PURPOSE

The Team Member – Project Execution assists the Project Site Head in effectively managing and executing all day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The role holder is responsible for ensuring that project works are executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and safety guidelines within the defined timelines and for supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors, consultants and internal teams, and resolving site level issues to ensure smooth and timely completion of project works.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Supervise day-to-day construction activities at site and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Percentage adherence to construction milestones.

Monitor progress of civil, structural, architectural and finishing works at site.

Timely completion of scheduled activities as per project plan.

Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for smooth execution of work activities.

Contractor productivity and efficiency.

Ensure proper utilization of manpower, equipment and materials at site.

Number of contractor-related delays resolved.

Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Number of quality non-conformities reported.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and site safety procedures.

Number of safety incidents / near misses.

Track daily progress and prepare site progress reports.

Timely submission of site progress reports.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details

• Contribute to implementation of best construction practices at project site.

• Ensure proper documentation of site activities and execution records.

• Ensure timely updating of execution related information in ERP systems, as applicable.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• Interact with nominated PMC, Consultants and contractors for execution of project work.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects and vendors for design clarifications and technical support.

• Liaise with suppliers for delivery and inspection of construction materials.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• Interact with Planning, Procurement and Billing teams for coordination of project activities.

• Interact with Quality and Safety teams to ensure compliance with standards.

• Interact with Senior Management to provide updates on project execution progress.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • CAPEX works of upto Rs. 10 - 15 Cr / year

OTHER DIMENSIONS

• Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages to be handled / managed.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B.Tech./B.E. (Civil) /PG Diploma in Construction Mgt from NICMAR or reputed institute

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 5–7 years’ experience in construction project execution.

• Experience in Real Estate / Infrastructure / Commercial / Industrial construction projects.
