JOB PURPOSE
The manager Civil is responsible for planning, execution, quality control, cost management and timely completion of all civil works of ALD, Hyderabad. The role ensures projects are delivered as per approved drawings, specifications, budgets and timelines while maintaining safety and quality standards

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Construction Management: Under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / structural works as per the agreed construction schedule to ensure the works are completed within time & cost complying quality standards.
- Design Management: Design and develop construction drawings internally for Building / structural construction works. Coordinate with consultants and clients for the necessary design inputs.
- Certify contractor’s monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Review of daily / weekly progress report as per the work schedule. Coordinate with the contractor’s team of Engineers / supervisors and collectively work out action plan to catch up with the occasional / frequent delay of work progress.
- Implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental measures as per the standard operating procedures.
- Drive the team development initiative by training and guiding the junior executives with emphasis on optimization of resources, value engineering during construction process and exploring the knowledge sharing aspects as a team.
- Provide support to bidding team for new projects by way of quantification, preparation of working drawings etc.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
- Should have work experience in project Management / execution of Infrastructure projects, Public utility Building or Institutional Buildings with a minimum project value of 200 Cr
OTHER DIMENSIONS
- To handle a team of 5 plus.
- To handle small projects parallelly.
- Should have an exposure to at least one Airport.
- Sound leadership skills with emphasis on team building, communication skills.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 10+ total years of experience with at least 5 years of work experience in leading the Building / Structural works in airport.
