JOB PURPOSE

Ensure maximum availability of Passenger Terminal Building entire Electrical System consisting High Tension (HT) and  Low Tension (LT) systems in a cost effective manner complying with all safety, environmental and legal norms in Airport premises, Responsible for the Operation and maintenance of HT & LT systems and meeting the KPI through preventive, predictive & break down maintenance and compliance to all regulatory and statutory bodies.

Accountabilities

Key Performance Indicators

Operations and Maintenance of  Electrical system consisting High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) of Passenger Terminal Building , GMR Hyderabad International Airport

  • Drive HT/LT Electrical Maintenance team. of  PTB
  • Drive and Support in developing performance metrics and KPI's to facilitate data driven decisions for HT/ LT System
  • Drive the 24/7 Airport Maintenance (HT/LT Electrical) to ensure optimal customer service support is provided to all maintenance departments, airport divisions, airlines, concessionaires and the passengers.
  • Ensures compliance with regards to testing and maintenance of Safety Systems, i.e. Fire alarms, BMS, Fire suppression system, emergency communication systems.
  • Supports in preparing and presenting fiscal analysis and budget recommendations for Capital and O&M budgets for LT System.
  • Ensuring 100% Uptime of Electrical HT/LT system

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction and follow up with AMCs
Interaction and follow up with OEM for failures, material & services
Interaction with CISF for security equipment and PSF budget, Legal metrology for Weighing scales legal compliance, Customs for baggage screening issues, 
Interaction with Vendors
 

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interaction with AOCC, AOPS, TOPs and Duty Teams on regular basis for maintenance activities, operational issues and special projects, Interaction and follow up with P&C team and stores for spares and inventory.
Interaction with legal team for Statutory compliance,
Interaction with FMS for building facilities
ARFF for Fire statutory authorities for compliance and permits
Interaction with security and control team for HBS operation and support

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B. Tech - Electrical/Mechanical with 4 to 6 years ’ experience

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

4-6 years of experience in maintenance activities with at least 2 years in Baggage handling system.
