JOB PURPOSE

The position is envisaged to handle and manage business’s contracts & transactions pertaining to Airport Land Development. The incumbent will also be responsible for structuring of the transactions, handling and advising on the legal issues, providing risk mitigation strategies. Legal documentation and negotiations, including retail lease/license agreements, LOIs, CAM agreements, amendments, renewals, and tenant-specific negotiations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Draft, Review and Negotiate Agreements related to project financing, joint ventures  and development aggrements (SHA, Share transfer aggrements, Term Loans).
  • Risk mitigation approach while drafting and review Agreements, Lease Deeds and other contractual documents
  • Cross functional coordination
  • Timely delivery of the drafts
Preparing Internal legal opinions and advises 
  • Review documents,letter & aggrements in line with the appropriate rules and acts.
  • Procure relevant information from cross functional departments
Periodic review and standardization of Agreements, Lease Deeds
  • Review the base drafts periodically and improve the drafts to mitigate the risk to organization and also as per the newly notified compliances and rules under different acts.
COE- Center of excellence for legal
  • Indentifying new rules and laws notified by government and providing info to cross fucntional departments 
  • Knowledge sharing session
  • Streamlining the legal process across ALD business

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

LL.B. is must

LL.M is preferred

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

7-12 years of post-qualification experience

Excellent drafting and oratory skills

Excellent MS Word, MS Excel, PPT skills and other computer skills

Conversant with contractual laws, corporate laws, financing documents standards; local laws for undertaking business functions

Strong exposure to drafting of contracts especially lease agreements, license agreements, concession agreements, revenue-sharing, joint-venture agreements, development contracts, tender documents; financing documents under various jurisdictions

Familiarity with basic civil aviation regulations
