Senior Engineer-Mechanical

JOB PURPOSE

Execution of Building Mechanical Services, in particular HVAC and Firefighting works, of Airport Terminals and other associated building projects with high level of safety & quality with a sense of ownership.

This role will assist in planning, designing, and managing the building mechanical services for infrastructure projects related to Airport ecosystem. Support in reviewing designs, preparing preliminary designs and quantity & cost estimates, support in tendering with technical inputs, close supervision & monitoring during installation, testing and commissioning of building mechanical systems like HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting Systems, and Airport Systems works.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with all stakeholders of the projects to understand and fulfill their requirements

Support in coordinating with government agencies like Local Fire Authorities, Pollution Control Board, Local Corporations. Interact with external consultant, vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the project.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with other departments like P&C, Finance, Technical Services, Operations, for smooth flow of work. Interact with individual/ internal team members for smooth coordination of project.

Interact with Senior Management to apprise them about the progress of works.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Must have involved in the Building Mechanical services works of CAPEX of Rs.01.00 Cr to 10.00 Cr

OTHER DIMENSIONS

Handling team of supervisors, technicians, etc.

Handling of multiple vendors and stakeholders

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Min. B.E./ B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

0 - 4 years of total experience in Mechanical works like HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting works in infrastructure projects (Airport/ Rail Terminals, Malls, Hospitals, Hotels, Public Facilities)
