Specialist (AGL & Security Systems)

Lead the team in order to operate and maintenance of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) & Perimeter Intrusion Detection (PIDS) systems and ensuring 100% availability on 24X7 basis for uninterrupted operations of RGIA as per DGCA/ICAO guidelines and compliances.

Airfield Ground Lighting Maintenance.

• Operation & maintenance of Airfield Ground lighting system
• Timely completion of preventive maintenance activities.
• Daily monitoring of the AGL Equipment’s insulation report.
• Monitoring the spares and arranging the spares.
• Deployment of manpower for unplanned maintenance activity.
• Performing actual root cause analysis to eliminate the repeated failures.
• Improve the maintenance methods through analyzing the previous data

Interaction with AMC contractors in the Airport. Interaction with OEMs and suppliers for material and services. Interaction with OEM for trouble shootings.

Interaction with Statutory Bodies like DGCA, BCAS, etc.

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

Interaction with Airside Operations department regarding clearance slots. Understand the needs for any operations issues.

Interaction with Procurements & Contracts departments for PR Processing’s.

Interaction with seniors for critical breakdown issues and latest updates

Interaction with Airside Operation on daily basis for clearance to carry out any work in Airside

• Should be able to handle and Operating Expenses budget of min. INR 20 Crores
• Should be capable to manage a Capital Expenditure budget of min INR 50 Crores

• Shall handle a total in-house team size of app.4 members.
• Shall handle a total team of min 60 members including external service providers.
• Shall handle a vast area of specialized AGL Operations which includes the Airfield and other security systems at air side
• Shall handle multidiscipline equipment and infrastructure.
• Shall be process driven and well versed with the maintenance management processes.
• Sound displays strong leadership skills and qualities with emphasis on team building, strong negotiation and good
• communication skills
• Conversant with CEA norms and regulations.

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

• 12- 15 years of experience in the Electrical maintenance in large infrastructure. Experience in AGL will be preferable.
