JOB PURPOSE

To lead a team of technical professionals in order to achieve, maintain & ensure maximum availability of civil infrastructure in terminal, Airside, Landside areas & Finishes – Airfield Pavements, ALS Buildings, Storm water management, Perimeter & Boundary Walls, Township and other civil infrastructure in a cost-effective manner complying with all statutory requirements, internal & external audits, IS codes, International codes, safety & environmental norms of Airfield & Buildings.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators

Lead Civil team of Passenger Terminal Building by Ensuring uptime & availability of civil infrastructure of Terminal Building

Availability of system

Lead the 24/7 Airport Maintenance (Civil) to ensure optimal customer service support is provided to all maintenance departments, airport divisions, airlines, concessionaire, and Passengers.

Monthly observation report

Prepare CAPEX and OPEX budgets and complete the projects with quality ,cost and time.

Planned projects and progress report

Contract Management –AMC/CMCs, Review SLAs during contract renewals, optimizing cost & provide technical input

SLA compliance

To ensure Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Regulatory Compliances

Audit closure report

Controlling expenses to meet the overall Annual operating plan of TS

TS- AOP

Develop functional and behavior skills of sub-ordinates, plan training needs and growth plans for eligible team members

Training records

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

All Annual / Comprehensive Maintenance Contractors

Cross Functional team of GHIAL and GADL to understand the needs for achieving common goals

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • Shall handle and Operating Expenses budget of min. INR 10 Crores
  • Shall be capable to manage a Capital Expenditure budget of min INR 20 Crores

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • Shall be able to handle a total team of min 75 members including external service providers
  • Shall be process driven and well versed with the civil maintenance, development, refurbishment, design management processes
  • Well versed in the following:
    • Various Building finishes in high-end facility
    • Civil -Design calculations and Drawings
    • National Building Code & IS codes & Local building regulations

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Civil Engineering

Preferred certification course in Building Aesthetic Finishes

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    

  • 12-16 years of total experience in Engineering Maintenance Activities of Civil Infrastructure & upkeep of Finishes of large public facility like Airport or other similar facility.
