JOB PURPOSE

 This job role revolves around defining and implementing data extracting strategies and leading the team to unleash the power of data analytics by interpreting the data to provide insights and support decision-making for organization’s benefit.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1.    Strategic Data Roadmap & Execution
    •    Define and lead the implementation of a long-term data strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    •    Prioritize data initiatives based on business impact, scalability, and innovation potential.
  2. Leadership & Team Development
    •    Manage and grow a high-performing data and analytics team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    •    Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
  3. Advanced Data Analysis & Business Insights
    •    Oversee the use of analytical tools (SQL, Python, R) to extract insights that drive strategic decisions.
    •    Ensure analytical outputs are aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  4. Data Visualization & Executive Reporting
    •    Guide the development of dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to support executive decision-making.
    •    Ensure visualizations are impactful, accurate, and tailored to diverse audiences.
  5. Data Governance & Compliance Oversight
    •    Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
    •    Collaborate with IT and legal teams to manage data risks and regulatory requirements.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    •    Act as a strategic partner to business units, translating data needs into actionable solutions.
    •    Lead stakeholder communications, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between data initiatives and business objectives.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  •  B. Tech (Electrical/Computers)
  • BCA / MCA

Certification in Python / Data Analytics / data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years’ experience in Power sector
