JOB PURPOSE
This incumbent will be responsible for the overall Slot Management, Capacity Planning & Statistics & Planning Cell for GHIAL.
Slot Management:
Slot Management is precisely to manage airport capacity through the application of set of rules contained in the IATA Worldwide Slot Guidelines (WSG) & local authorities guidelines. Slot Management involves the allocation of constrained or limited airport capacity to airlines and other aircraft operators to ensure a viable airport and air transport operation. It is also a process to maximize the efficient use of airport infrastructure.
The prime objective of airport Slot Management is to ensure the most efficient use of airport infrastructure in order to maximize benefits to the greatest number of airport users and capitalize on revenue generation.
Statistics & Planning Cell (SPC):
To ensure timely collation & circulation of Air Traffic Movement, Passenger numbers, Cargo tonnage & Mail data to various stakeholders on regular basis.
The need is to establish a single point of contact (SPOC) for data generation, distribution, facilitate necessary information and support to all the stakeholders. SPC provides MIS to various intenal and external stakeholders.
Another integral role of SPC is to work on long term Capacity Planning, Master Planning, Forecasting, OTP, Strategic Initiatives, Process Improvement, & various other projects.
To ensure & monitor the allocation of Airport resources at GNIAL to achieve efficient operations leading to improve On Time Performance (OTP), effective emergency handling involving aircraft and other facilities as per Airport Emergency Plan & regulatory compliance and timely updating and dissemination of information to all stakeholders (external and internal) during the shift duties at the airport.

Responsible for ensuring efficient and optimum utilization of airport resources e.g. parking stands, boarding gates, check-in counters and baggage reclaim etc., based on the customer needs and during his/her shift duties. |

To ensure correct and updated information display /announcement of flight status / Flight Information Display System (FIDS) / website for internal and external stakeholders / visitors / passengers during his/her shift duties. |

Responsible for timely notification of any Emergencies at the airport as per laid down Airport Emergency Plan (AEP), Bomb Threat Contingency Plan (BTCP), Fire Strategy Plan and Aircraft Hijack Plan during the shift duties. |

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
- Airlines/Ground handlers: Interaction with airlines/ground handlers in terms of operational requirements.
- Govt. agencies (CISF/ATC): Coordination for operational requirements.

- Department Head, subordinates, peers outside the department.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate / Post Graduate from reputed university
- Proficient in MS Office especially in Excel, Word and Power point etc.
- Proficient in using different software
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8 years of aviation experience in Operations
