JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for identifying the Wild Life Management hazards, and developing and implementing the bird/wildlife strike prevention programme and strategies to reduce the Bird strike risk in and around vicinity of Airport including liaising with all key internal and external stakeholders.

Daily monitoring of habitat management and implementation of the mitigation strategies for potential reduction of wild life hazards. | No of the Rwy/Perimeter inspections and limiting the Bird strikes to 1 in 10000 Air Traffic movements |
Scheduling and monitoring of vegetation clearance and maintaining the regulatory requirement imposed by DGCA | Regulation of vegetation control |
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
- District Collector, State Forest Officials, Agricultural Officers, Zoo Park Officials, ATC, Airlines. Ground Handlers

- AOCC, Terminal, ARFF, Technical, CFL, P&C, HR,F&A

Lead and manage a team comprising of :
- 4 members from each shift of Airside officers.
- 24 members of Bird scarers( Out sourced Agency)
- 25 members of Grass cutting Team (Out sourced Agency).
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA.
- Graduate in science.
- ACI Diploma in Global safety Networking.
- ACI/ICAO certified in Wild Life Management.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- At least 15-20 years’ experience in aviation field.
