JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for identifying the Wild Life Management hazards, and developing and implementing the bird/wildlife strike prevention programme and strategies to reduce the Bird strike risk in and around vicinity of Airport including liaising with all key internal and external stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

| Daily monitoring of habitat management and implementation of the mitigation strategies for potential reduction of wild life hazards. | No of the Rwy/Perimeter inspections and limiting the Bird strikes to 1 in 10000 Air Traffic movements |
| Scheduling and monitoring of vegetation clearance and maintaining the regulatory requirement imposed by DGCA | Regulation of vegetation control |

- District Collector, State Forest Officials, Agricultural Officers, Zoo Park Officials, ATC, Airlines. Ground Handlers

- AOCC, Terminal, ARFF, Technical, CFL, P&C, HR,F&A

Lead and manage a team comprising of :
- 4 members from each shift of Airside officers.
- 24 members of Bird scarers( Out sourced Agency)
- 25 members of Grass cutting Team (Out sourced Agency).
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA.
- Graduate in science.
- ACI Diploma in Global safety Networking.
- ACI/ICAO certified in Wild Life Management.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- At least 15-20 years’ experience in aviation field.
