JOB PURPOSE

To identify and plan current and future airside resources and infrastructures to meet demands from various airlines, Ground Handling Agency and other stakeholders. To identify training needs, plan, develop and establish training procedures pertaining to Airside Operations for effective and smooth functioning.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develop and establish a robust Training plan
  1. Plan, develop and establish training procedures pertaining to Airside Operations.
  2. Identify Training needs of the team.
Develop, direct and coordinate major programs and trainings on various topics such as Airside Operations, Airfield management, methods and procedures, special projects and other activities, as assigned. 
  • Effectiveness of training programmes.
  • Efficiency of Airside team members.
  • Competency level of team members
  • Lapse on the part of team members owing to training flaws.
  • Observations during inspection by DGCA/local audits.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • Preparation of AOP for Capex and Opex (3 Crs) and initiate minimum two revenue generation projects (1 cr)
  • Responsible for continuous flow of revenue from FEGPU utilization (10 lakhs pm) , AD/AVP cell functions (15 Lakhs pa)

OTHER DIMENSIONS

A team of Airside, AOCC, Slot officers and service providers of 100 members working directly with Operations.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation followed with A Executive Management program with any reputated University/Institute.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 15 -20 Years of post-qualification Experience
  • Exposure to Aviation Industry in the capacity of middle level management.
