JOB PURPOSE

The role is responsible for supporting Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Development (BD) functions. Under BI, the role involves preparation of Annual Operating Plans, Strategic Plans, and periodic review updates in coordination with all departments, aligned with the strategic direction provided by senior management. On the BD front, the role entails opportunity tracking and analysis, preparation of bid documentation, cost models, revenue proposals, business development presentations, and timely generation of BD-related MIS reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Business Planning & Strategy Coordination

  • Prepare the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan in coordination with departmental heads across Projects, Engineering, IT, HR, and Finance.
  • Track and monitor strategic and business initiatives and prepare quarterly review documents for senior leadership.
 

Opportunity Analysis, Market Intelligence & MIS

  • Conduct opportunity tracking and client follow-ups.
  • Perform environmental scanning, market/country analysis, and maintain BD-related MIS.
  • Track project progress and provide timely updates and reports.
 

Proposal & Bid Management

  • Prepare prequalification documentation in collaboration with technical/subject matter experts.
  • Develop cost models and revenue proposals.
  • Coordinate bid submission documentation and support contract vetting post-award.
 

Business Development Collateral

  • Prepare business development literature such as brochures and organizational presentations.
  • Develop customized, client/project-specific presentations and documentation.
 

Process Improvement, KM & Special Initiatives

  • Provide support for process improvements and knowledge management.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and documentation standardization across BD and strategy functions.
  • Conduct cross functional and locational KT sessions.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA (preferably BE/BTech graduate)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Min 5 years of experience.
  • Min 2 years of experience in Strategic Planning and/or Business Development role.
