JOB PURPOSE

To manage & support Mumbai IT Operations conforming to Corporate IT Policies & Procedures, Vendor Management, corporate IT security, Compliance & governance defined to satisfy the business needs.

Accountabilities

Key Performance Indicators

Management of Mumbai office Network/Servers/Printers/Desktops/Laptops and Guest House IT facilities:

  • Management of Local LAN & Wireless Access Points
  • Local Proxy server management
  • End User Troubleshooting
  • Ensuring desktop/laptop in compliance with Corporate IT policy
  • Management of CCTV Camera & Server
  • Management of  Local Data Server

 

Timely completion of troubleshooting and management

Video/Audio Conference Management:

  • Troubleshooting & Management of Mumbai 4 Nos. conference room equipments (Audio/Video) to give maximum error free uptime.

 

Timely scheduling/Troubleshooting

Vendor Management:

 

  • Negotiation and Finalisation of Annual Maintenance Contracts
  • Tracking Vendor SLA
  • Interacting with Vendors for New & updated technologies

 

Timely implementation

 

EPABX/IP Phones Management:

 

  • IP Phone configuration and Installation
  • AMC Vendor Maintenance tracking
  • Troubleshooting of extensions & VOIPs
  • Negotiating for Call Billing Software for the Group which will enable us to track the VOIP penetration and usage of phone lines

 

Call Log Management

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Kronos Online Attendance System Management:

  • Maintenance & troubleshooting of Kronos Terminal installed in Mumbai Office & ensure Mumbai employees attendance data update in Centralised server at Bangalore.
  • Configuration & Issuance of Access Cards for the new employees
  • Disabling of Access cards for outgoing employees
  • Maintenance of Substaff online attendance system for Mumbai Office

Timely implementation & Troubleshooting

 

 

BMC Remedy(IT Service Management Tool) Management:

 

  • Manage BMC Remedy Support person & Help him in Troubleshooting and customization of the tool
  • SLA configuration/re-configuration of the tool as per Corporate IT requirements

Timely implementation & Troubleshooting

 

Special Projects/Initiatives:

 

  1. ITIL Process Implementation & Documents for ISO 20000 Certification

 

  • Supported Corporate IT in driving implementation of Policies & Procedures as per ITIL Standards, process improvements, ISO 20000 certification

 

  1. Mumbai Office Expansion

 

  • Project will kick-off  in August ‘13
  • Installation of  LAN/Wifi & connectivity to existing office as per CCM’s requirements
  • Integration of server room as per requirement
  • Integration of Conference rooms/Meeting Rooms

 

 

 

Timely implementation & Scheduling

 

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• Interact with all Annual Maintenance Contract Vendors on a regular basis to track their SLA(Service Level Agreement) and maintenance window.
•Interact with vendors for new technologies coming up

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with employees (local & Other locations) on a regular basis to understand their needs, be respond to them on all their IT related issues
Interact with Accounts & Finance department for Vendor Payments

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

•Ensure Cost within the AOP

OTHER DIMENSIONS

•Handling Outsourced local IT Helpdesk & BMC Helpdesk at Bangalore (Total 2 Nos)
•Vendors (10 Nos)

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

•Degree or equivalent in an IT or similar discipline from an institute recognized by UGC / AICTE preferably a Degree in Information Technology.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

•08-10 years of work experience in IT preferably in Infrastructure or a related domain. Demonstrable experience in process understanding and process improvement.
•Must have strong Communication skills as this position will have direct interaction with senior management
•Vendor management & Management of IT Outsourcing Services for an organization a definite advantage
