JOB PURPOSE

Lead the Project Management team for Landside buildings interiors delivery of the Projects by deploying best project
management practices, use of innovative methods and technology, emphasis on environment, safety, quality. Guide the team to
achieve within time and cost, develop team competency and capability, ensure stakeholder/regulatory approval and their
management, and provide leadership to obtain customer satisfaction to take team to create a great place to work.

ORGANISATION CHART

This position reports to CDO.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Contractors & Vendors Management -Provide Leadership to the Main Contractor, perform as per project plans both in terms of Time and Budget. Guide construction team to achieve the required result, ensuring all issues are resolved in time and there is no delay to Construction. Provide leadership in proper Monitoring of Project and deploy strong review mechanism as per project manual to ensure timely completion of each milestone with Best in Class quality – Quality of Material; Workmanship; End product

Change Management / Value Engineering / Contract Management -Ensure & deploy value engineering proposals. Guide team to ensure all project interfaces wrt engineering, procurement and construction is resolved with Operations and Maintenance Departments. Provide leadership in developing project phasing.

Ensuring a strong documentation mechanism so that all project data is available in a click of button.

Safety, Quality and Environment

Following and ensuring follow-up of the set safety, quality and environment standards.

  • Responsible to ensure “Zero incident & Accident” & “Zero Tolerance” works atmosphere
  • Ensure all sustainability initiatives in line with Organisational guidelines

Stakeholder Management

Ensure all stakeholder concurrence or approval is taken to make sure all issues are resolved within the required timelines.

Team Development

Ensure Employee engagement.  Identifying training needs. Training the available team to perform the works as per the laid down procedures.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

 Periodic interactions with Customer 

 All the contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.

 All external auditors

 

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Operations / P&C / Senior Management / Contracts HR & Compliances / Legal / Business dev teams / Design teams / Accounts & Finance

  • MAG audits.

External Audits – Financial / Compliance / Quality / HSE

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • Target for “No upward cost variation”
  • Review of Interior/ finishes budget prepared by Design team / PMC
  • Will handle work value of approx. 100 Cr. Per annum

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • Project Management Team / PMC – 6 No’s
  • Handling of Contractors and their manpower strength of 200-300.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Architecture from Reputed institutes - Prefered
  • Bachelor Engineering in Civil from reputed institutes
  • PMP or Dip in Const Management shall be advantageous

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 15 year experience of working on EPC Building Projects, preferably of Hospitality; Commercial; use
  • Should have handled at least two full life cycle projects
  • Must have relevant experience of Planning & co-ordination of all finishes works of a building project.
