JOB PURPOSE
To Manage the Operations and Maintenance activities of –Baggage Handing System , Hold Baggage Screening , Passanger Boarding Bridges & Visual Docking Guidance Sysytem at IGI Airport as per customer expectations and OMDA requirements in compliance with OMDA, ICAO, DGCA, BCAS and TSA regulations along with maintaining the serviceability and Availability above 99% |

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The main objective of Associate Manager – BHS , HBS , PBB & VDGS is to work closely with Team so that Baggage Handling Systems equipment along with Passenger Boarding Bridge is maintained at the desired serviceability & availability levels as per requirement and ensure that all customers i.e. Stakeholders/Pax/Airlines/Customs/Immigrations and CISF’s expectations are timely met.
- Support for Improvement Projects & Maintenance works related to –BHS , HBS , PBB & VDGS and to ensure the smooth operation at all times.
- Conducting training programs for the team to develop talent and enforce succession planning at each level.
- Conducting regular training programs for various stakeholders (Airlines/ GHA’s, Operations etc) to imbibe best practices.
- Maintaining Serviceability >99 % & moving towards zero pending complaints with complete RCA and to prepare data analysis for Condition Based Monitoring.
- Reduction in Operational cost for allocated Opex budget by reducing spare consumption, achieving recovery cost and initiation & implementation of cost saving measures in –BHS , HBS , PBB & VDGS.
- Strengthening of SLAs Monitoring, identification of non-compliances, preparation of documents for audits & closure of observations, SI and Zero tolerance.
- Reviewing existing SOP’s and preparation of new SOP’s as and when required.
- To ensure that the team down the line is continuously participating in key quality initiatives like CIP, 5S, Kaizen, EnMS, BLIP, Cost Containment, and supporting different audit groups such as MAG, ISO, BCMS and assessments.
- Ensuring calibration certification of Equipment’s (Energy Meters, X-ray’s ) from concerned bodies.
- Monitoring Spares Inventory of Contractor to ensure availability of Critical Spares.
- To carry out analysis for Energy consumption for Cost Containment in –BHS , HBS , PBB & VDGS.

- Total:7 years
- 3 years of experience in Airport Systems package (BHS , HBS , PBB & VDGS)
- Experience in PLC & SCADA (Automation)
