JOB PURPOSE

Monitor all site safety and legal requirements. Review project proposals and plans to develop project objectives. Identify project phases and elements. Establish specifications for projects based on a thorough review of performance standards, client requirements, and product design

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project Planning
− Collect and analyze project information to create status reports and recommend future actions
− Conduct scheduling of activities based on prioritization and criticality of activities for the project; Prioritize and plan future construction activities for the project
− Support Reporting Manager in conducting resource planning in terms of projecting material and manpower requirements in order to deploy resources efficiently across the entire project lifecycle

• Quality of inputs provided for projecting material and manpower requirements (Based on feedback from the Reporting Manager)
• Planned Vs Actual adherence to: − Planned project schedules and timelines
− **Cost/budgets for the project

Project Execution Monitoring
− Coordinate with Design Team for timely receipt of drawings; Provide inputs to evaluate the feasibility of project design in terms of impact on the construction processes, costs and timelines as may be required
− Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
− Ensure quality testing of all materials received at Site/ used by contractor
− Provide inputs to Quantity Survey and Billing Team for validation of bills received from various partners (vendors, contractors) engaged for execution related activities; Follow up with Finance to ensure timely payment − Build and maintain strong working relationship with the contractors to enable effective delivery of tasks

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with stake holders of the projects to understand their requirements and educate them on particular systems.

Interact with Government statutory agencies like Local Fire Authority, Central Electrical Authority, State Electricity Authority, Pollution control board, Municipal corporations, Factory Inspectorates for certifications

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interacts with other departments & Airport teams for efficient coordination of works

Interact with individual team members to understand their strength and weakness and guide them

 

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

  • CAPEX works of up to Rs. 5 - 7 Cr / year

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • ▪ Number of Major projects packages to be handled / managed (All Civil Structure packages) at a time 02 nos of project
    ▪ Number of Contract labor to be handled (all civil structure/ finishes packages labor)-250 no’s

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • ▪ BE/B. Tech Civil Engineering

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Real Estate/ Infrastructure/ Construction/ Related Industry with experience of handling at least one projects end-to-end
