JOB PURPOSE

Nominated by DIAL as CFO of Delhi Airport Parking Services P Ltd (DAPS). Monitor and Supervise the finance and affairs of DAPS (a JV of DIAL) to maximize shareholder value, and ensure corporate governance, statutory compliance, stake holder management, risk mitigation, maintaining accounting records as per Ind_AS and GAAP as well as audit thereof.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Financial Closing of Books of Accounts Timely closure of Accounts as per schedule
Audit 1.    Resolution of issues with Statutory Auditors and ensure no adverse remarks in Audit Report etc.
2.    Action against  issues highlighted by Internal Auditors and ensure compliance.
 
Budgeting, MIS and Stakeholder Management 1.    Preparation of AOP with detailed analysis 
2.    MIS for Management with detailed analysis of revenue, expenditure and other financial parameters for effective decision making
 
Banking, Stakeholders, etc. Maintaining effective and cordial relation with various stake holders i.e. Bankers, AAI, MoCA etc. and addressing their issues
Accounts  Receivable Management 1.    Ensuring timely billing i.e. 7th of next month , of revenue with accuracy 
2.    Ensuring no revenue leakage with proper monitoring and controls
3.    Dealing with Revenue Auditors and reply to their reports
4.    Reconciliation of debtors and realization of dues
 

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Regular interaction with Revenue Auditors and External Auditors for addressing their issues and reply to their reports
  • Regular interaction with Bankers in regard to loans repayment, cash management & interest issues, negotiation of refinance of loan, etc.
  • Regular interaction with Credit Rating agencies for getting rating done of Bank Loan (:as per RBI mandate) and surveillance review done 
  • Regular interaction with key business associates like AUCTUS, BCG, EVOXEN, FAAC, SAP Consultant, etc. for various process improvement initiatives and projects for revenue & profit enhancement. Currently working on feasibility of major revenue enhancement projects like Forecourt management, etc.
  • Interact with advocates & law firms for advice on legal matters for various proceedings on a case-to-case basis 
     

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

  • Regular Interaction with DIAL MAG Internal Audit Department with regard to issues raised and resolution thereof
  • Regular interaction with DAPS Operations team, and DIAL JV team
  • Regular interaction with DIAL JV team & Commercial department on various issues related to business plans & strategy, profitability, contracts, viability of commercial proposals, etc.
  • Regular interaction with GMR Corporate Insurance department
  • Regular interaction with various DAPS/DIAL/GMR departments for income & expense related provisions, master file update and other finance related issues 
  • Regular Interaction with DIAL Commercial Non-Aero department and DIAL JV team,  with regard to commercial issues, revenue assurance, business strategies, etc.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant 
  • Good understanding of SAP ERP, Ind_AS and Tax laws
  • Effective communication skills and Analytical ability

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

 

  • 20+ years of  experience
  • Have worked in ERP based accounting system, and multi-location & multinational companies
  • Experience of handling fairly large team and dealing with airport sector regulator AERA, and various government agencies like Customs, DGFT, MoCA, etc.
  • Experience of working with Infrastructure and Service Industry
  • Being a member of core management team of the JV, plays a key strategic role in all major business decisions like budgets,  new business initiatives, major contract negotiations, project planning & analysis, organization road-maps, pricing & market strategies, etc.
