JOB PURPOSE
Support CEO, Project & Commercial heads and their teams in the financial decision-making from time to time.Key role in preparation of the Strategic & Annual business planning and risk management. Setup/ensure successful implementation of financial policies, internal controls and strong financial systems to guard interest of the shareholders/JV partners.Monitor finance and accounting function, tax compliance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, maintaining accounting records as per Ind. AS and GAAP and audit clearance thereof.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support and Monitoring | 1. Support CEO, Project & Commercial heads and their teams in the financial decisions making from time to time 2. Key role in preparation of the Strategic & Annual business planning and risk management. 3. Setup/ensure successful implementation of financial policies, internal controls and strong financial systems to guard interest of the shareholders. 4. Monitor and Supervise finance and accounting function, tax compliance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, maintaining accounting records as per Ind. AS and GAAP and audit clearance thereof. |
Financial Accounting and Closing of Books of Accounts and Audit clearance thereof | 1. Preparation/Review of P&L and Balance Sheet. 2. Compliance of Ind. AS and GAAP, Timely closure and clearance of Accounts as per Schedule. 3. Resolution of issues with Auditors and ensure no adverse remarks in Audit Report etc. |
Accounts Receivable Management | 1. Ensuring timely billing of every month, of revenue with accuracy 2. Ensuring no revenue leakage with proper monitoring and controls 3. Dealing with Auditors and reply to their reports 4. Reconciliation of debtors and realization of dues |
Accounts Payable Management | 1. Ensuring payment to vendors, suppliers, service providers etc. as per payment terms 2. Ensure compliance of TDS, and GST 3. Monitoring of Expenses as per AOP and variance analysis 4. Ensure the proper compliances of MSMEs |
Tax Compliance | 1. Ensuring Filing of returns as per tax deadlines with accuracy and assessment. 2. Handle tax assessments, transfer pricing assessments etc. from time to time. 3. Reply to Department’s queries and filing of appeal and appearing for appeal matters and co-ordinate with advocates |
Budgeting and MIS | 1. Preparation of AOP with detailed analysis 2. MIS for Management with detailed analysis of revenue, expenditure and other financial parameters for effective decision making |
Treasury | 1. Monitor day to day treasury operations 2. Arrangement of funds and upkeep of credit limits 3. Optimization of finance costs 4. Regular improvement in Credit rating |
Meetings, Legal & Secretarial | 1. Co-ordinate/organize Board & Shareholders meetings 2. Review of Agreements & Minutes of the meetings 3. Conduct internal review meetings 4. Ensure timely filing of MSME returns and other MCA returns |
Stakeholder Relationship management | Maintaining effective and cordial relation with various shareholders and stake holders i.e. Bankers, BCCL, TIML, DIAL, Consultants, Agencies, MCD, clients etc. and addressing their issues |
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
- Regular interaction with Internal as well as External Auditors, consultants for addressing their issues and reply to their reports.
- Regular interaction with Bankers in regard to loans repayment, interest issues, providing regular reports etc.
- Regular interaction with Tax Departments for various tax related issues, assessments, investigations, specific information and replying to their queries.
- Interaction with Insurance team and Insurance company for insurance and claims as and when it occurs.
- Interact with TIML, BCCL management teams, SAP, Secretarial, Insurance, SAP teams from time to time.
- Interact and contribute to the logical conclusion of ISO audits and reviews.
- Regular interaction with legal consultants with respect to the ongoing writ petitions and legal cases from time to time
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
- Regular Interaction with DIAL in regard to various issues raised by them from time to time
- Regular interaction with DIAL, DIAL-JV’s-MIS on various issues related to expenditure, contracts etc.
- Regular Interaction with Sales head, Regional sales heads with respect to billing, Outstanding, collections and debtors reconciliation

Total area for advertisement 164,000 sq. ft. in 936 number of sites. Additionally 260 number of digital sites.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of experience..Good knowledge of internal controls and strong financial systems.Good understanding of SAP ERP, Ind. AS and Tax laws. Effective communication and Analytical Ability
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Ability to handle multiple tasks and demanding JV partners.
20 plus years of post-qualification experience.
Have worked in ERP based accounting system.
Experience of fairly working across departments and stakeholders.
