Design & Engineering Lead (Wind & Solar)

JOB PURPOSE

The Design & Engineering Lead for GMR Renewables will be responsible for aligning engineering strategies with business objectives, ensuring cost-optimized project designs, and managing external consultants and EPC vendors. This role requires expertise in solar and wind system design, technology selection, energy yield assessments, power evacuation feasibility, and engineering design reviews. The candidate will also oversee in-house techno-commercial engineering while efficiently outsourcing detailed engineering to EPC partners.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Renewable Energy Engineering (Master’s preferred).

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

10–15 years in solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy system design and project optimization.
