JOB PURPOSE

The role, Energy storage Lead, for GMR Renewables focuses on developing cost models and designing solutions for BESS and PSP projects, particularly for renewable energy tenders (FDRE, RTC) and C&I consumers. Responsibilities include bottom-up costing, technology evaluation and LCOE/LCOS analysis for various storage durations and applications. The role involves structuring storage solutions for C&I clients under different models (Open Access, BTM), supporting regulatory teams, and strategic sourcing of BESS components and PSP partners. The lead will also track market intelligence, regulatory developments, engage with stakeholders (government, OEMs, consultants), and provide cross-functional support for bid teams and strategy.
