General Manager - Design

JOB PURPOSE

Design management, Documentation and reporting

• Overviewing Design Management across all ALD projects.
• Implementing design scheduling, tracking as per the Project Master schedule.
• Advise on scheduling of services and drawing requirements
• Ensure proper documentation, progress and financial reporting in all aspects for design team

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design management, Documentation and reporting

• Overviewing Design Management across all ALD projects.
• Implementing design scheduling, tracking as per the Project Master schedule.
• Advise on scheduling of services and drawing requirements
• Ensure proper documentation, progress and financial reporting in all aspects for design team

Implement MIS for the design team                

Adherence to procedures, compliance, audit

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interacting with government bodies like AAI, Fire Services, Municipal Authorities, Pollution Control Boards, DUAC etc for approvals and regulation controls.

Asset Owners/external developers for interfacing to get appropriate design inputs. 

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal stakeholders like Master Planning, Connectivity, Land, Security, Operations, IT etc for their requirements and inputs related to planning of ALD projects.

P&C, Finance, Management Offices etc for MIS and other reporting and approvals.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

• Should have worked on the project worth 800-1000 crores over 3 years

Execution of approved projects of approx. 500-800 crores over 3 – 5 years

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B Arch / M. Arch ( Masters in Building Engineering & Management or Project Management is desirable)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 15-18 years of experience with a large real estate firm / multidisciplinary design firm/ architectural firm and having experience of large commercial offices, hospitality, health care, Retail projects, master plan projects.
• Over 10 years of multi-disciplinary experience in Master planning, architecture, interior design, project management, across , commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare etc.
