Head Airport Capacity Planner

JOB PURPOSE

This Airport sector focused position, as part of Group Corporate Strategy team, is expected to provide analytical support to key top stakeholders on developments in external environment, new bids and investment decisions, Go - No Go decisions in new areas, policy advocacy and other special assignments.  A key component of the role would be to support the sectors on the development and deployment of Strategy plans & AOPs and their reviews.  

ORGANISATION CHART

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and refine organization's airport capacity plan, including goals, objectives and key performance indicators.
2. Assessing a detailed and robust terminal capacity plan for all terminals in IGIA.
3. Develop an inventory / database of key processing infrastructure such as check-in counters, security infrastructure, immigration infrastructure.
4. Develop long term capacity requirements; development options of terminal capacity expansion for Management decision making.
5. Collaborate with CXOs for their requirements – commercial areas assessment, slot planning etc.
6. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the organization's resources are effectively allocated to support strategic initiatives.
7. Facilitating meetings and discussions with key stakeholders to ensure that the organization remains focused on its strategic goals and objectives.
8. Conducting regular assessments of the organization's capacity plan to ensure that it remains relevant and effective.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

•    Civil Engineer/Architect preferably majoring in Transport planning
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills
•    Strong experience in undertaking airport planning studies, developing terminal / airport capacity plans
•    Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
•    Strong knowledge of airport planning norms, International and Indian building codes, IATA ADRM etc.
•    Experience of working with aviation regulators in matters of airport planning

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

•    At least 12-15 years of experience with exposure to undertaking terminal capacity planning, airport capacity planning
•    Experience of working with large airport in India/globally is preferred.
