JOB PURPOSE

The GM – Execution plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of high-quality finishes across airport infrastructure projects. By driving strategic planning, financial oversight, and quality control, this role safeguards design integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The incumbent will lead stakeholder coordination, enforce standardized execution methodologies, and optimize resource utilization to uphold world-class terminal aesthetics.

Execution Planning & Quality Control

  • Oversee the timely execution of projects, setting clear milestones and monitoring daily progress through structured inspections (IRs) and measurement books.
  • Establish and enforce execution standards, ensuring strict adherence to approved mock-ups and shop drawings to maintain design integrity and prevent deviations.
  • Drive quality excellence by implementing preventive and corrective measures to maintain finish quality.
  • Develop and implement standardized execution methodologies to prevent uncontrolled and non-aesthetic installations, ensuring process consistency across all projects.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with international and national airport standards maintaining the terminal’s world-class ambience.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during execution, conducting regular site safety audits and enforcing corrective actions to mitigate risks and maintain a secure working environment.

Financial & Contract Management

  • Provide strategic financial oversight by contributing to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and project requirements.
  • Lead cost planning and control by reviewing and validating comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimates, and specifications.
  • Ensure seamless contract administration by overseeing SAP documentation for work awards, including Non-Financial Approvals (NFAs), and ensuring timely approvals.
  • Drive compliance in project certification by reviewing submitted documentation (O&M manuals, bills, actual quantities executed).
  • Ensure financial discipline by streamlining contractor payment processes, mitigating delays.
  • Oversee cost assessments and negotiations by evaluating item variations and conducting rate analyses for new materials in collaboration with P&C.
  • Supervise contract closure processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with contractual obligations.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify and integrate new functional requirements into project execution.

  • Regular interaction with other disciplines for getting necessary support/ input in terms of required building services

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 15+ Years of total experience
