JOB PURPOSE
An effective leader, who leads from the front, to provide comprehensive legal advice, evolve effective strategies for resolving legal and regulatory issues, handle all litigations and business transactions, project financing and day to day contracts as well as provide necessary legal support for its joint ventures and concessionaires in airport business, so as to achieve business goals of the organization.
ORGANISATION CHART
The Head Legal will have functional reporting to the Chief Legal Officer – North & West Sectors of Airport Business and also the dotted line reporting to the CEO of DIAL.

Digital Initiatives in Legal function • Develop and implement e-Litigation Management System • Support Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiatives • Design, compile and execute the legal compliance system during key project transactions. |

- Writ petitions by and against DIAL
- Matters before NGT
- Strategic and high sake litigations against government on key policy and contractual issues,
- Arbitrations involving claims and counter claims
- Regulatory litigations before TDSAT, Delhi High Court and Supreme Court
- Matters in labour courts
- Matters before District Court and Consumer Forums
- Criminal Complaints, by and against DIAL

OTHER DIMENSIONS
DIAL Legal Team below the Legal Head comprises of about 12 members carrying experience ranging from 3-20 years with two senior legal leads and the members below each of them.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Law from a law college of repute is a must and LLM is preferred
- PG Diploma / Diploma in IRPM is desirable
- PG Diploma/Diploma in Business Management would be an added advantage since business acumen will enhance the skills.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- More than 20 yrs. post qualification experience
- The person bears academically strong background with very good understanding of law and practice.
- The person should have been the legal head of at least medium size business conglomerate for at least the last 4-5 years with diverse experience of handling various types of litigations in all courts and tribunals.
- The person should have handled the varied type of transactions in his career
- The person should have handled fairly sized legal team of varied experience
- The person should have dealt with promoters and business heads in the course of his functions
- The person should have good networking with lawyers, tier 1 and tier 2 law firms and senior advocates in Delhi and Mumbai.
