To identify, evaluate, develop guidelines and lead technical discussions for various smart meters, advanced metering technologies and other upcoming metering solutions as per business requirements.

Metering – Smart Metering:

Identifying potential options fit for business requirements. 
Detailed analysis on meter and its components 
Ensuring quality of product and life
Evaluating and rectifying the design if needed
Meter Firmware
Meter supply from partners
Polycarbonate seals for meters
Testing of meters and seals
Meter communication and interface from hardware side
Identifying metering hardware requirements for power distribution business in consultation with business head, implementation head and other stakeholders.
Detailed technical analysis of the required components and preparing a design fit for project requirements
Market scanning for availability of optioned aligned towards project requirements
Shortlisting & evaluating right product & service providers based on their technical capabilities
Defining their scope of work assigned with timeline including quality standards to be maintained by vendors. 
Ensuring the quality of AMI system by physical verification at vendor and project site
Verifying compliance to Quality and technical specification of metering solution
Testing of various components in AMI system to identify the issue 
Identifying potential threats / technical vulnerability and suggesting corrective measures for revenue protection. 
To ensure hardware interface of AMI system is being maintained as per requirements to meet the SLAs
