Junior Manager - Design

JOB PURPOSE

Support in executions of Finishes which includes all types of Flooring, Wall claddings, Counter tops, Sanitary ware, Internal partitions( Doors etc..) works in coordination with cross functional teams with adherence to highest safety & quality standards within specified timelines and cost.

• The incumbent at this position shall be responsible for Design Management for the given project/s and provide assistance in various design related works for ALD projects.
• To ensure that Tender documents and construction document are in adherence to approved Concept design and ensure the design intent is maintained through construction.

Implement procedures & processes during development.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design Management (Interior Design)

• Design management for the specific project/s.
• Detailed review of Design Development, Approval packages, tender drawings, specifications, BOQs and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and ensure all typical details, cross sections, dimensions, interfacing with all disciplines etc. is complete and there are no discrepancies.
• Maintaining all design documents, drawings and area statements for the project.
• Design schedule, documentation, tracking, minutes of meeting as per international / company standards.
• Ensuring timely issue of design deliverables in line with the project schedule.
• Ascertaining the % of work complete/milestone completion for third party consultants.

 

Construction Management (Interior Design)

Review on-going work at project site w.r.t adherence to design intent, GFC drawings.

 

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External consultants, PMC, contractors & vendors.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Team members in Projects, planning, contracts, Business Development etc. within Airport Land Development.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

• Should have worked on interior projectz worth 1-3 crores over 3 years

Execution of approved projects of approx. 50 lacs -100 lacs over 3 – 5 years

OTHER DIMENSIONS

• Should have worked in multidisciplinary teams involving 4-5 specialist consultants.

Should have worked in teams comprising 8-10 members.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• B Arch / Dip. Arch / Dip. ID

Dip / Certificate in specialized software

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years of experience with real estate firm/ architectural firm and having experience of large commercial offices, hospitality, Retail projects.
• Over 2 years of multi-disciplinary experience in architecture, interior design and other building related disciplines in commercial, retail, hospitality projects.
