JOB PURPOSE

The position is for a dependable resource in the capacity of para-Legal in the Legal Department who shall be responsible for handing billing of External Lawyers as well as for managing Central Document Management Centre(CDMC) and allied activities, thus supporting both the Litigation and Transaction Verticals of the Legal Department, reporting to Head Legal.

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
  • Invoice Management.                                                                                                                    
  • Be SPOC for Bill Management for Lawyers Engaged by Legal Team per Engagement Terms finalized in terms of Engagement Letters, Retainership Letters or other arrangements with the lawyers.
  •  SAP handling and management for Legal.
  • Clear non-disputed invoices within TAT of 45 days.
  • Co-ordination with accounts teams/persons in the offices of the concerned Advocates and within organization for seamless process.
  • Maintain MIS of bills paid, cleared, unpaid invoices, pending etc. on weekly/ monthly basis.
  • Handle any out of turn payments needing to be expedited.
    Executed Documentation Management.
  • End to end Management of Central Document Portal.
  • Physical document storage in Central Document Management Centre.
  • Scanning, indexing & uploading of executed documents and/or Agreements in portal, register and digital file.
  • Allied assistance to Transaction Vertical in achieving deliverables under the respective SOP.

  • The position handles critical foundational activities to core functions of Litigation and Transactions.
  • Approximately 80-90 invoices cleared per month by Legal.
  • Approximately 50-65 agreements handled per month.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate
  • Technical course in computer applications.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Around 5-7 years of experience in back office work handling documentation, data handling, SAP handling,  vendor account management or similar.
