JOB PURPOSE

Monitor the boarding gates, check-in counters and baggage reclaim Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) and Gate Operating System (GOS) at DIAL through Closed Circuit Television, make manual / automated announcements and coordinate with concerned teams to take corrective action for removing congestion in the terminal as per the requirement of Airlines/ Operations.

 Responsible for managing & coordinating the operations and logistics of non-cricket sports teams that include Kabaddi, Kho Kho & Rugby in compliance to all statutory requirements, to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment with the objective of constantly improving overall team satisfaction and building relationships with the stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Team Management:

  • Managing Team, Support Staff and league related issues. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of non-cricket sports teams that include Kabaddi, Kho Kho & Rugby.
  • Creating a comfortable working environment, creating working strategies, and mediating any interpersonal issues within the team, aligning them with the team’s objective.
  • Team Contract documentation and coordination of finance related issues.
  • Team insurance and medical insurance management.

Team Logistics

  • Managing team travel, logistics plan and execution on a day-to-day basis.
  • Lodging coordination
  • Team kitting related purchase and deliverables within the defined deadline.

Talent Spotting / Acquisition

  • To keep a close eye on the general development of sports.
  • To travel to Kabaddi tournament/championships/academies for spotting/monitoring acquiring new talents.
  • Coordination with coaching and support staff for new talent acquisition.

  • Initial training / briefing of manpower for the sports event
  • Deployment of contract manpower
  • Supervision of work done by contract manpower

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate / Post Graduation in Aviation Management
  • Proficient in MS Office especially in Excel, Word and Power point etc.
  • Proficient in using different software

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 6-10 years of work experience with passion for sports
