JOB PURPOSE

Power Evacuation & Connectivity Lead for GMR Renewables will lead efforts in securing grid connectivity for large-scale renewable energy projects (500-1000 MW annually) in regions with optimal wind and solar resources. This role involves coordinating with CTU (Central Transmission Utility), STUs (State Transmission Utilities), and other internal stakeholders to secure grid access and power evacuation solutions. The ideal candidate will run power evacuation feasibility studies, conduct necessary due diligence, and collaborate with external consultants to ensure continuous power supply over the long term, addressing challenges such as transmission constraints, grid integration, and regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related fields

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Experience: 8-12 years in grid integration, power evacuation, and transmission network planning in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hybrid).
