JOB PURPOSE
Handle the Estimation of Cost and Procurement activities related to Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Packages for Airport Construction, to ensure that Contract/Purchase Orders for Major Packages and other goods/services/works for are awarded to the most competitive and experienced contractors thereby meeting/exceeding the critical project performance parameters such as cost, time and quality for Airports under Construction Delhi, Hyderabad and Goa |

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities | Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) |
Management of all activities of Tendering Process including: Drafting of Commercial Tender Documents and Qualification Criteria; Bids invitation and receipt; Bids Evaluation and Contract Award and Formulations of Contract Agreement for various contract packages (e.g. such as Civil Works, Equipment, MEP, FMS, IT and Site Infrastructure Works, Consultancy Contracts etc.) within the estimated cost and to meet the project timelines | Contract Award within the budget and within the stipulated timeline |
Management of all activities of Procurement Process including identification of suppliers, vendors and service providers; preparation of RFP Documents, sending enquiry and receiving offers, techno-commercial discussion and price negotiations, issuance PO/Contract and post award follow up to ensure deliver of goods and services as per projects timelines/milestones | PO issued to - right supplier, with in the budget and within stipulated timelines, timely delivery of goods/services |
Estimation of various packages by use of various tools such as Clean sheet costing, Should Cost Models | Estimates matching with procurement prices |

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Interactions with potential Bidders during the entire tendering process for project contracts Interactions with suppliers/contractors/Service Providers for the purpose of purchasing goods, services, works and obtaining timely delivery of the same Interaction with Lender Independent Engineer, Lender Insurance Advisors, Owner Engineer, Project Consultants and others during pre-award and post award stage |
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Interact with user department (PM) of each project to understand their needs and priorities in terms of inviting bids/offers for different packages, supplies, services, goods for the GGIAL Coordination with Engineering and Project Management Team for having inputs during tendering and procurement process Assist Interaction with cross functional team consisting of legal, MAG, Taxation, Insurance, CPD and F&C to obtain their vetting on Conditions of Contract and Letter of Award to ensure compliance to Internal Company Policies Interaction with Project Heads, Department Heads and Management to obtain management approval for issuance of contract/PO |

To handle package procurement of the values ranging in 7000-10000 crores |

Interacting with 25 No, big size, internationally reputed, Bidders who are participating in Bidding Process for Major Contract Packages, Ownerâs Consultant etc. Interacting with 25 No, medium to small size vendors for other goods, services and works Handling Complex turnkey projects |
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
B. E. Civil/Mechanical/Electrical MBA/PGDM â preferred |
