JOB PURPOSE

The GAL Adjacencies Business team’s primary role is supporting GAL new Adjacencies business at Goa, Hyderabad. Bhogapuram and other new business locations for non aero Business. Provide analytical support to GM F&A in decision making on business growth and critical issues. The role is primarily to co-ordinate to ensure business growth and adequate governance and internal controls.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Managing the Concession Agreement No violation from Concession agreemnet terms.

Management of Profitability :

Adequate review of AOP and Business Plan especially on expenses in details and discussion with CFO and Business development team.
Tight monitoring of expenses on zero based budgeting.
 

Alignment with GAL Adjacencies AOP.

Management Presentations:

Preparation of presentation, with adequate explanation/support and in Continuous and regular interaction with business at location and shared services.
 

Monthly MIS to Management
Co ordination with Business and SSC team for Analysis and rectifications in accounts.
 
Actively participation in new business 
Cargo, Parking, Duty free in Goa; Duty Free, Retail & Parking in Hyderabad. And upcoming business in Bhogapuram and Hyderabad
 
Close co-ordination with business team for new business set-up.
New GST Registration, Bank Accounting Opening etc. 
 
Periodic (Monthly / Quarterly / Adhoc) presentation with updates to Internal Stakeholders including  Co-ordinating with the BD team for preparation of AOP and their monthly breakup.
Monthly Analysis of actuals results with AOP including variance analysis.
 
Ensuring the booking of invoices in SSC Validation of invoices and getting approvals as per DOP
Ensuring posting of invoices by SSC and of payment on time
 


Single point contact for all reporting requirements

SPOC (Single point of contact) with GIL F&A team regarding all reporting. Interaction with relevant stakeholders on financials and ensuring that the audited documents are provided within the timelines of the group.

Active involvement in preparation of financials and ensuring that there are no adverse issues.
 

Coordination & completion of statutory and internal audits as per timeline and ensuring scope of audits are adhered.

Closure of audit observations
Provide support to businesses.
 

Internal Audit management and ensure effectiveness:
Continuous monitoring of Internal Audit issues,  Internal Audit scope and reports, co-ordination with MAG for inputs and ensuring implementation of adequate processes
 
As per advised timelines
Monitoring to ensure avoidance of bad debts
Monitoring receivables of GAL Adjacencies to ensure timely collection and avoidance of any bad debt.
 
As per agreement
Support to GAL on fund raising:
Providing reports / analysis related to GAL Adjacencies Business
Handling related Due Diligence / Audits
