JOB PURPOSE
To execute Contract Management and procurement in most competitive manner, vendor management, logistics management, claim management & settlement of bills, claims, contract closure, in line with overall project program.

Review PR & Understand the requirement for the procurement of materials, & works / Service. Ensuring procurement as per the procurement policy. Review scope documents for all structural and finishing works and advise project team of any observations or comments. Assist in drafting contracts/ agreements for large civil, finishes and structural work contracts. |

Payment certification of vendors including check on all required documentation such as quantity / measurement checks, quality documents, test certificates and complacence to all contractual terms. Follow up with finance for timely payment. Co-ordinate with HR for clearance of Labour law compliance by the contractors. Ensure payment of Building cess by the contractor. |

Budget tracking updating of budget against actual expenditure and notifying concerns team. Co-ordinate with finance and SAP team to ensure all PO/WO/ and agreements and ENFA approvals are on time |

Contract Management of all Agreements including communications with other party,assist HOD in dispute resolution mechanism, Change Management (Variations), claim management (both additional time and cost) and timely MIS to Management etc. for; Agreements between Client (where GADL is Consultant to client) and his Suppliers and contractors appointed for client’s project. |

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Client/ User departments in terms of understanding needs and priorities and developing business alignment with procurement processes.
Group Procurement function in terms of aligning to the overall procurement architecture, knowledge management across procurement units in the group in terms of best practice sharing.
Coordinating with PMT on the progress of the Work, With commercial and operation team on the Budget related issue and Business requirement Support. F&A on the payments of the vendors.
Finance , Legal and Indirect tax team for budgeting, tax plan , clarity on taxation, savings on tax , drafting contract/ agreement , Contract management , payment process and closure of contract etc.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
To handle the Project value ranging from INR 500 to 800 Cr

Education Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering - Civil
Other Skills
- Well-versed with FIDIC Contract & NEC, JCT contract Models.
- Well-versed with International Contract Management practices.
- Aware of latest INCOTERMS, international trade and logistics procedures.
- Well Versed with MORTH & IRC guidelines & Specifications
- Should be familiar with Indian contract act, Limitation act, sales of goods act , Labour regulations, Customs regulations, taxation rules etc.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 9 years’ relevant experience along with Auto-cad , MS Office and Contract management knowledge
- Should have handled multiple small projects in parallel.
- Should have an exposure to Infrastructure projects in Highways /airports as contracts manager.
- Work experience in airport sector will be preferred.
- Knowledge & experience in handling AutoCAD, BIM, Calquan, and any quantity calculating software will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in arbitration and claim management will be an added advantage.
